2025 Calendar of Events
Throughout the season the club holds a number of "Dinghy Hop" social events. These are fun parties with food and drink, and an opportunity to connect with fellow boaters. The "Whooz-in?" is our first Dinghy Hop each spring where we recognize those who have their boat in the water earliest! We also host an annual Holiday Party in conjunction with the Duluth Sail and Power Squadron.
The club generally provides food and drinks at dinghy hops, and members are encouraged to bring a dish to pass. Not a member yet? You can join at any dinghy hop, no need to wait!
May 3 Whooz-In?
The Bridge at Hoops Brewing, Duluth, MN
Kentucky Derby themed party. Attendees are encouraged to wear Derby hats and apparel if desired.
June 28 Dinghy Hop
Spirit Lake Marina, Duluth, MN
A very welcoming, casual destination located on the St. Louis River.
July 26 Dinghy Hop
Siskewit Bay Marina, Coricopia, WI
Located on scenic Siskewit Bay on the South Shore of Lake Superior. Take the short drive or pleasant boat ride and join us for fun, food, and beverages.
August 16 Dinghy Hop
Sand Point Marina, Park Point, Duluth, MN
Hosted by the Sand Point members. Join us for fun on Duluth's Park Point.
September 12-13 Dinghy Hop
Duluth Sail & Power Squadron Dock, Superior, WI
Boat or drive to the Squadron Dock on Allowez Bay in Superior. 1000 ft of docking space available, first come, first serve.
December 6 Holiday Party
Boat Club Restaurant, Duluth, MN
Annual Holiday Party, in conjunction with the Duluth Sail and Power Squadron.
